Ecommerce Product Manager

We are searching for a dynamic and driven E-Commerce/Product Manager within our Marketing department to manage our website, while taking into account functionality, appearance, content, and performance. The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for helping to improve site engagement, increase conversion of key metrics, and generate sales and leads via online channels.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

  • Assist the CX, creative, marketing, finance, and development teams in their day-to-day activities
  • Monitor systems and ongoing workflows to ensure smooth operations
  • Identify and manage systemic and visual bugs and regressions, putting in timely requests to make modifications or adjustments to the codebase
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing feature requests ensuring they are made in time for scheduled product releases and marketing moments
  • Attend internal meetings with various stakeholders to consult and provide technical input and progress updates
  • Distill broader ideas from the internal teams for suggestions regarding the ecommerce store and ideas for future enhancements
  • Plan, spec and gather data, oversee on-site testing and user research
  • Work with developers to set up environments, review code, and ensure standards compliance in all aspects of the development and launch pipeline.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of website design and administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency with markup and programming languages including HTML, XML, Java, and CSS.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Web Development, or related field, preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience working with web development, data and project management.
  • 3+ years experience with Shopify
  • Expert knowledge of the direct to consumer retail industry
